Great narrative for Gannett. Our group is going in early August2010. Hope the snow holds for us. Just got back from doing Mt Marcey. Had a great time.

I am a native and growing up here I climbed many of the mountains. It is such beautiful country. I love it here and cannot imagine living anywhere else!

Hey Rex, good to see ya!! It's been a long time huh? I have to say, your pics and videos are absolutely amazing. I'm kinda partial to the ones of the windies though. BEAUTIFUL!!!! Your videography isn't all that shabby either. Glad to see you are alive and thriving.

Enjoyed your pictures. I was on Square Top @ 1985. My college roomate was from Casper and he took me to the top. We "camped" on top. No tent or fire allowed, just us in our bags as the temp dropped into the low 20's. It was worth every step. When we got to the top my legs were so shot they "vibrated" for about an hour. The sky that night was clear and the stars looked so close - it was amazing!

Your pictures make me want to go again.

Thanks

Hey Rex,
I have followed your adventures for a couple of years. I have been a runner (on and off road) for years but started do a little climbing. I have used your pages for reference and entertainment. We climbed Kings Peak and Mt Borah last year and we are planning to put in the lottery for Mt. Whitney this year. Thanks for sharing your passion.

Rex,

I have hiked Mt. Elbert once in the day. Do you suggest hiking Mt. Elbert at night and reaching summit for sunrise?

Thanks,
Kayla

Rex-
Enjoyed the Devil Tower climb video. I went to RSHS, class of "61" with your father. Have you ever met or heard of Greg Haverstock. He is my nephew and lives in Bishop, Ca. He is a serious climber. Tell your dad I said hello

Fred

hey! your are my new hero! i climbed Long's Peak when i was 13, and attempted it the year before. ever since then i've had the goal to peak all the fourteeners, and do the us highpoints as well, and hopefully... eventually i wanna climb Everest. i've climbed alot of peaks here along the wasatch front... (its nice having countless peaks over 11,000ft in my backyard) and i do ALOT of rock climbing. (it's even my job!) anyways, any advice for future climbing for me would be helpful! thanks!
