What does it take to become a favorite climb? As with most things in life, the more challenging an endeavor is, the more rewarding it is when you successfully complete the challenge. For me, climbing is no different. The harder a mountain makes me work for the summit, the more I enjoy the experience. Most of my favorite climbs are climbs that in some way made me push beyond what I thought possible and out of my comfort zone. Other peaks on my favorite lists might not be that technically difficult, but were set in an extremely beautiful environment and made the climb enjoyable and memorable. |
