After rediscovering the joys of sleeping in again on the weekends, Amy and I decided we needed to get our lazy butts up to the mountains this weekend. We decided on either Mt. Silverheels or Pettingell Peak, and opted for Pettingell before the avalanche danger in Herman Gulch gets higher as winter approaches. Pettingell Peak is also the Grand County highpoint, an added bonus.
